Beautiful Anglo Indian writing box made entirely out of ebony wood

1 drawer (for paper) and 9 compartments (for Quills, inkstones, 1 for sand) plus wooden cups for water.

The sand box is topped with a well executed elephant

Even the stands designed to allow the ink on the written pages to dry is intact!

size of the box part: 350mm wide, 260 deep, 100mm heigh, (total height is 230 mm)
