Meet Jutta
Jutta Mark, MA, is a member of the Antique Dealers Association of New Zealand.
Jutta Mark has been associated with Alys Antiques since 1991. She has dealt in antiques for thirty years after having worked for one of the biggest dealer galleries for fine art in Berlin. She gained a Master of Arts at Waikato university in 2018 and wrote her thesis on the Classic Modern Movement in German Art.
Alys Antiques has been in Cambridge since the early 1960s and is one of the oldest Antique Shops in the country. The shop was established by Alys and John Briggs (originally from Scotland) in Duke Street. We moved to our present location at 87A Victoria Street in 2008.
At this time the Gallery was added to the shop which made it unique for combining modern Fine Art with genuine antiques.
Alys Antiques and Fine Art sell genuine antiques mainly of English origin
Selected pieces are of Asian or Continental Origin. We sell furniture, pewter, silver and silver plate, glass, ceramics, clocks and watches and much more. A speciality are 17th and 18th Century oak furniture, Georgian drinking glasses and early porcelain.

Alys Antiques and Fine Art specialise in original prints from the Classic Modern Movement in German Art but also sell paintings, watercolours and steel engravings by English, New Zealand and continental artists dating dating from the 18th century to the present. All artworks are professionally and beautifully presented, mostly using conservation materials.
